     The Tactical Squirrel was born from the hands and heart of a veteran, mother, advocate, and community builder. Founded by Jennifer Williams, a woman whose selfless service extends far beyond the uniform, The Tactical Squirrel is a tribute to creativity, resilience, purpose, and duty.

       Jennifer’s path from military service to motherhood taught her that every mission—whether it’s a quick errand, grabbing coffee on a busy day, or heading out for a family adventure—deserves the right gear to carry with pride. Since joining the Army Reserves in May 2016, she’s lived by the motto “Tactical is Practical.” When she became a mom to two daughters, money was tight, and splurging on a $50+ designer baby bag wasn’t an option. Drawing on her and her husband’s military backgrounds and resourcefulness, she repurposed one of their rugged military backpacks for diapers, wipes, and bottles. That’s when tactical met practical, and practical became an everyday necessity. While watching her girls grow, Jennifer realized she wanted to spend more time in their lives. Blending this mindset with her love of art and creativity led to the creation of The Tactical Squirrel.
